Dr. Jahzyah Parache

Jahzyah is a native New Yorker who grew up in Long Island, NY. He obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy from CUNY, Hunter College, where he served as a class representative for three years. Jahzyah's commitment to lifelong learning has led him to pursue a Certification in Functional Manual Therapy, currently in progress, to further enhance his hands-on skills and help his patients return to the activities they love as quickly as possible.

During physical therapy school, Jahzyah gained valuable experience during a clinical affiliation at Johnson and Johnson Physical Therapy in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. There, he worked with Gregg Johnson, a highly respected figure in the field with over 55 years of experience.

Jahzyah also completed clinical rotations at The University of Chicago Medical Center in Hyde Park, Chicago, where he worked on the Orthopedic trauma floor, supporting patients through the acute phase of life-altering events. Additionally, Jahzyah completed a rotation at First Step Physical Therapy in Melville, NY, where he assisted patients with amputations, training them to learn to walk with their prostheses and reintegrate into their new reality.

In his free time, Jahzyah enjoys hiking with his dog, outdoor running, cycling, snowboarding, and cheering on the New York Football Giants. He is also passionate about attending physical therapy continuing education classes and, most importantly, spending time with his family.

Jahzyah's dedication to ongoing education and diverse clinical experiences have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to provide personalized, effective care to his patients, helping them achieve their goals and return to an active lifestyle.
