Emrul Arshad is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive academic and clinical experience. He is passionate about learning the most up-to-date assessment tools, process of rehabilitation, and treatment techniques for a wide range of conditions to provide optimal and patient-centered care. Emrul is a native New Yorker, born in the Lower East Side and raised in Queens. He shares personal desire to serve his community through a conservative approach that is specific and tailored to individual needs.

As a therapist from Touro University, Emrul has had the opportunity to work among a variety of areas and patient populations within New York City. He has found great satisfaction in supporting those with orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions using movement, hands-on techniques, and strategies for injury-prevention. Emrul has past physical rehabilitation experiences in subacute/skilled-nursing facilities and outpatient clinics; however, he enjoys the freedom and ability to provide a one-on-one session for the entire duration of his patient’s visit, which Symbio Physio guarantees.

When he is not treating patients, he enjoys participating in sports; observing creative arts, fitness, wrestling/martial-arts, and spending time with his family.
