Born in the Eastern European country, Belarus, Veronica moved to the United Stated with her family when she was only 3 years old. She has lived in Brooklyn, NY ever since, so considers herself to be a New Yorker to the core (and has the accent to prove it!!!). Coming from a 10 year dance background has enabled Veronica to get in tune with, and understand the art of body movement. She graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, learning that not only the body, but that the mind also plays a very important role in function and recovery. Veronica used her experience in dance and movement, along with her undergraduate education in the ability of the mind to achieve a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College School of Health Sciences. She not only graduated at the top of her class, but was also the recipient of a Clinical Achievement award.
Where is Veronica now?
Outside of embarking on this new, exciting journey as a Resident Physical Therapist at Symbio Physiotherapy, Veronica enjoys an active lifestyle consisting of running, biking, and weightlifting. Oh and PUPPIES… puppies are the solution to all life’s problems!!
Where is Veronica going?
Veronica is currently working towards earning her certification in manual physical therapy (COMT) through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She hopes to continue to better her knowledge in her respective field and one day become an educator herself.
Symbio PT is a physical therapy office specializing in treating the complete body, soul and mind.
