Where has Stavros been?

Though born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Stavros, or Steve as he’s known as by friends and family, has family stemming from the birthplace of the Olympic Games, home of the Parthenon, and the great makers of Feta cheese – Greece! With family roots in such a beautiful country, traveling not only to Greece but to other countries of the world is something he loves to do. Living an active and healthy lifestyle since he was young, Steve knows the value of physical fitness. He’s been a certified personal trainer for over fifteen years, and has been involved in sports, running, cycling, and weight lifting. He was also a martial arts instructor in the past. It is this work ethic that led Steve to continue his education after receiving a degree in Psychology from Hunter College, to earning his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College. Steve graduated at the top of his class, receiving an award for academic excellence as well as the prestigious Maimonides award.

Where is Stavros now?

When not in the clinic you can find Steve venturing upstate for some fresh air, tinkering on things around the house, racking up miles outside on his bike, working on cars, tuning cars, racing cars (yes, he might like cars!!), playing with his four legged sidekick, and keeping up with his training clients.

Where is Stavros going?

With a strong passion for continuous self-improvement, Steve is currently working to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Because sharing his knowledge with others is another of his passions, Steve has also been giving back to his alma mater as a teaching assistant for students currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.
